  • The media as so greatly enflamed the emotional aspect of this case that the facts of the case no longer even matter. People's opinions are formed and no amount of evidence will change their opinion.

  • It seems the NRA advocates more guns not responsible gun ownership. In their eyes your local corner store should be selling guns to anyone who waks in. The other extreme is that no one should have access to buying hand guns as there is no reason to protect yourself.

  • If you are able to verbally provoke someone into attacking you have the right to defend yourself and you will have to defend yourself. I do believe Zimmerman's intention was to defend his neighborhood not go on a killing spree as the media would have you believe.

  • As a registered independent I am finding the inevitable Obama vs Romney show down to be an election between two extremes. I find the prospect of either of them running the country for the next four years to be frightening as hard working middle class Americans will be forsaken by both.
